Description

Original Czechoslovakian VZ24 Mauser Rifle Bayonet and Scabbard .

Knife bayonet for use with the 8 mm. Czechoslovakian vz. 98 and vz. 98/22 Mauser rifles.

The VZ–22 bayonet copied the Austrian M1895 inverted blade profile, but used a Mauser style hilt.

This bayonet has a Date Stamp for 1936 - see photos.

It has wooden grips and a Blued finish.

This example was made in 1936 by Československá zbrojovka a.s., Brno. ( CSZ ).

It has CSZ stamped into the blade.It also has a hand engraved Number on the end

of the pommel -see photo.

The steel scabbard retains most of its original Blued finish and has Stamped Markings

on the Frog fitting - see photos.

This bayonet has seen little if any use and in overall in very good plus condition.
