Description
an original WW2 Imperial Japanese ArmyType 93 , 2 piece Trench Periscope Storage Case or Container .
It is a metal storage case with a Mud Brown coloured finish.
It retains over 80% of its original painted finish.
The lid has a hook and catch fitting and it works fine.
The inside of the case has 2 sections made from wood as shown in the images.
When looking at the inside photo image, the right hand side slot
is for the Handle to slid into and the left hand side is for the periscope tube set up.
The lid has a leather seal in its under side as shown in the image.
The lid has a metal plate attached to it and is Serial Numbered " 4093 ".
The Japanese wording on the plate shows the Makers Name,Date and Description.
it is in good used condition as shown.
It shows wear from age, use and handling.
