an original Italian Carabinieri Lucerna (Bicorne) Hat with Insignia & Plume.It is hard to date these hats.This hat has seen some use and was marked when i
got it as c.1940's era.
It has a white metal Badge attached to the front sitting over a cloth Cockade .
It has its original Red & Blue coloured feather plume.It is removable from the hat.
with a Black felt material body and a web stitched edging.
It is cloth lined and has a leather sweatband .It has an elastic chin strap.
It has a Size stamp of " 56 " .
in good used condition with wear and some basic damage around its edging. sold as is.
The Carabinieri are the National Gendarmerie (Police) of Italy who primarily carry out domestic policing duties.
